Everyone loves a good birthday celebration and a first birthday is all the more special. This week I was lucky enough to join The Happenstance Restaurant and Bar to celebrate their First Birthday.
The Happenstance sits right next to London's most iconic landmark St Paul's.
A birthday wouldn't be a birthday without lots of surprise and treats. The first of which was a wonderful cocktail "Houdini Tini".
Snow queen vodka, cloudy apple juice, vanilla and ginger infused syrup de gomme, grapefruit and lime juice. A perfect way to begin the celebrations.
Followed by wonderful summer canapés.
Yummy Butternut squash crumble.
The Happenstance had also pulled out all the stops with entertainment, Miss Ballooniverse and wonderful acrobatics.
A birthday party wouldn't be complete without cake and what a cake.

ReplyDeleteIt is right near to St Paul's and is a lovely restaurant great sharing boards and Sunday roasts. St Paul's has gone loads of investment recently and has loads of lovely restaurants now Lucy x

DeleteI basically read your blog, got hungry, and had a poptart. Not the most exciting thing to eat, but I can at least pretend I am eating all the delicious food you are eating. I love the look of that cocktail. So pretty with that pansy in it.
